Belgian Tower Company is owned by Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, an operationally focused specialist investor in digital infrastructure across Europe and North America.

In 2021, Cordiant acquired all shares of NV Norkring België from its former shareholders: Telenor Communication II AS (Norway) and Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen (PMV). This strategic acquisition marked a new chapter for BTCY, strengthening our position in the telecom infrastructure sector and laying the foundation for long-term growth and innovation.

Cordiant’s expertise spans radio and television broadcasting services for commercial broadcasters and distributors, as well as co-location and site-hosting for broadcasters, niche communication providers, and mobile network operators. As a shareholder, Cordiant supports BTCY not only with financial backing, but also with deep industry knowledge and an international outlook.

As part of a wider consortium, we’re currently involved in testing 5G Broadcast technology—an innovation that’s expected to unlock new services for both broadcasting and mobile network customers. This kind of forward-looking initiative reflects the shared vision between BTCY and Cordiant: to enable smarter, more flexible, and future-ready infrastructure for the digital world.
